BEHIND THE BRAND

Picture the typical young surfy grom who grew up with the ocean running through his veins, the long sun bleached hair, eye balls red raw from salt water & bed sheets full of sand. Adam Kingsley fits the description. Only one thing that didn’t quite add up, was the fact he grew up almost 2 hours drive from any coastline. 

For a mountains boy obsessed with the ocean, he was pretty far from home. Dedicated almost every spare moment, he'd hike by every mode of transport  just to be in the water, it was clear the love affair was real. 

 

At the age of 16, Adam saved up to invest into his first underwater housing paired with his handmade lens port. He was addicted to share the underwater beauty and discoveries with those who don’t quite get /see it. Through a genuine appreciation and addiction for the ocean and everything she offers - this is where Adam’s self taught ocean photography was born.

 

16 years on, Adam is 32 and has relocated to the Gold Coast for the Queensland Fire Fighters. Giving him the life style to do something his is passionate about 100% of this time. When he isn’t on shift, you can find him in the water.  Doing exactly what he always has done. Absolutely frothing. 

 

Only ever sharing his photographs as gifts, purchases from mates and word of mouth. Never an out of line motive just a pure appreciation for what he gets to capture - He’d figured its about time to share it with others.
